No me puedo considerar ni mucho menos malacólogo, ni siquiera coleccionista de conchas. El caso es que tengo una pequeña colección sin orden alguno de conchas que he ido recogiendo por diferentes playas, principalmente. Esta mañana, paseando por la playa con mi hijo tras una tormenta, nos encontramos un ejemplar de estrella de mar, bastante normalita, de 5 brazos. La devolvimos al agua, pero a la vuelta nos la volvimos a encontrar, ya que el oleaje seguía fuerte. Así que, como a mi hijo le hacía ilusión, nos la llevamos a casa junto con un para de caracolas que encontramos. Y aquí viene la pregunta tonta ¿Qué hago para conservar la estrella? He estado buscando por internet, y no he dado con un sitio donde se diga algo sobre el tema (supongo que porque no he buscado bien). Hasta ahora, en mi "colección" los únicos equinodermos son unos cuantos erizos. Y lo que hice con ellos (que probablemente sea una gran burrada) fue cocerlos y luego vaciarlos. Pero el esqueleto de la estrella me parece más débil. Quizá sea mejor dejarla secar entre papel de periódico. De momento ahí la he dejado, entre hojas de periódico. Si me podéis hacer alguna sugerencia para su mejor conservación, os aseguro que yo (y mi hijo) os lo agradecermos.

Remojala en Formol , te mucho cuidado con eluso de este liquido y no permitas que tu hijo lo toque .

dejala remojada unos dos dias y despues sacala a secar un rato quedara dura y conservara el color

Puedes conservarla en alcohol al 70% o déjala secar directamente, el formol es cancerígeno es muy peligroso, especialmente para niños.

Las estrellas de mar se pueden secar al sol del verano, si el clima donde estás es bastante seco y soleado. Aunque el papel de periódico ayuda, te recomiendo que la pongas sobre el papel boca arriba al sol por varios días. Procura que se achicharre bien y te durará muchos años, te lo garantizo.
